Not much happening right now. ...

Getting ready to enter into another Exchange at TTE. This time it's a Floss Tag. Another item I've never done. But I've got a few ideas that I'm trying to iron out.

I also just signed up for a Hand-dyed Swap-Bot Exchange. This is also something I've never done. But something that I've thought about doing for some time. Wish me luck!

With the enlisted help of Lynn over at needles-and-quilter-me, I'm going to be learning how to quilt! This is something I have dreamed of doing for the past 20 some odd years. But with my hubby being in the military, we just never seemed to have the space to do this. I've finally decided nows the time to learn!!! I've ordered the material for a smallish project and am anxiously awaiting its arrival!

On a personal front.....I've been on a diet program since August of last year (LA Weight Loss) and have successfully lost 45 lbs so far. I have 15 lbs left to go! If anyone had asked me back in August if I would have stuck with it, I would have said...."ARE YOU CRAZY?" But all said and done, I'm glad I stuck with it! The ups and downs have been well worth it. I'm off my high blood pressure meds and feeling wonderful!!!

Tiny Treasures Exchange

I've been doing an exchange over at TTE....my first biscornu. While it's not difficult to make one, it was a bit daunting at first....at least until I figured out what I was doing! And I was only making a simple one.....I shudder to think about what will happen when I attempt the 15 sided one...(and I will attempt one of those ...one of these days). Anyway....Here's the one I made (designed myself) for Amanda in Italy.....

Here's the one I recieved from Lynne in Scotland....She did a perfect job in matching my likes/dislikes and I love the biscornu!
