Well....didn't get much done this week. A little hard to do any stitching when you are so cold you are buried under mounds of blankets! At least the temps are supposed to be closer to normal this week...in the 70's! YAY!!!!!!
Did get a little more done on the Crane Pattern. The more I do, the more I like it.
I also worked on the Cookbook project. This is a freebee by Penelopis. It has been stitched on Belfast Baby Lotion 32 ct, using DMC 310 1 strand over two threads. The piece is stitched.....but not yet finished. It still needs embellishments with both ribbon and beads. Once that is done, I'll send it off to my Mom to play with placement and matting possibilities before I proceed with the stitching of the other 29 pieces.

Random Act of Kindness-something you receive in the mail unexpectedly from another stitching buddy..whether cross stitch or quilting. It's a good way to de stash your stash a bit! LOL
